Cult of Ferrara is the cinematic electronic rock project of multi-instrumentalist Barnaby Hazen, frontman and principal songwriter for the post-punk outfit Babelshack.

Moving far beyond traditional electronic boundaries, Cult of Ferrara weaves a dark, patient tapestry of sound—layering psychedelic guitar textures, deep rock bass grooves, and hypnotic keys over a heavy, driving cadence. Fronted by Hazen’s brooding male vocals and brutally intimate words and melodies, the catalog moves with a score-like depth tailor-made for atmospheric tension and neo-noir suspense.

The project’s flagship track, 'Edible Product,' achieved instant international film acclaim, winning Best Music Video at the Beyond the Curve Film Festival in Paris, France, alongside an official selection at the Wallachia Film Festival in Romania.
